How much do you charge per hour?
-Anywhere between $125 – $150 per hour (ask about our Weekday specials)

If I book more than 1 service or book more than 1 hour, will I receive a discount?
-Yes! the more hours you book, our pricing goes down. Also, if you book more than 1 service or if you book more than just 1 artist for your event, we will also provide you with a discount.

Do you only face paint for house parties? 
-NO! We will attend any type of event! Corporate picnics, festivals, Open Houses, Family reunions, Corporate Christmas parties, back-yard parties, School Musicals, Customer Appreciation Days, Restaurant events, Father-Daughter dances, Dance Competitions, Baby showers, YOU NAME IT!! We’ll Be there!!

How far do you travel? and do you have a travel fee?
-We serve the Chicago land area and all of the surrounding suburbs. NO! we do not charge for travel. Depending on where the artist that is assigned to your event lives, we may require a minimum of 2 hours booked. For example: Abby, the owner, lives near Midway airport, if the event is located all the way in Gurnee or Indiana, she definitely will require the event to book at least 2 hours.

How many kids can you paint per hour?
-All artist are trained to paint about 12-15 kids depending on the design each children chooses

Do you require a deposit?
-Yes, in order for your date and time to be booked and confirmed we require a 50% deposit

What forms of payment do you accept?
-We accept any major form of credit card, Chase Quickpay, or Paypal

Can adults get their face painted too?
-Of course! We do like to paint kids first and if we do not have a line, Parents are definitely welcomed to join the fun!

If I book 1 hour of face painting and 1 hour of balloons, will there only be 1 person doing both services?
-Abby’s Colorful Creations has multiple artist part of their team! We have a few options to accommodate this scenario. One of the options: Face Painting can take place during the 1st hour and as soon as the artist is done, they can switch over to do balloons during the 2nd hour. The second option would be to schedule 2 separate artist to attend your event. Therefore, you will have 2 separates lines happening at once.

What if I have to cancel my event due to bad weather?
-All deposits are non-refundable
-Weather Cancellation Policy: Rain or shine, we will attend your event at the scheduled time. If you decide to cancel with Abby’s Colorful Creations due to factors out of our control, i.e. weather, there will be no refund for the event. Abby’s Colorful Creations will use the same deposit to transfer the date of the event, within the same calendar year and based on availability. 

We are having a Super Hero theme, can all of the designs that you paint on the kids be super hero related?
-Of course! Once you book your event, Abby’s Colorful Creations can create a special menu to match your theme! We can create designs to match any type of theme you may be having!

We are hosting an event for 500-800 people, are we able to book more than 1 artist with you?
-Yes! You can book more than 1 artist with us and you can also book more than 1 service! We are all trained and have experience with large crowds!
